Do the retailers lists have email addresses included?
Only a few, so most do not. We have found that obtaining this information is very challenging. When a general email address for the store is found, such as info@NewAgeStore.com, very often the person handling the emails is not the store’s buyer. We have found that the most effective marketing is done by sending free samples followed by follow-up phone calls to the store’s buyer. Another strategy is to send out a mailing of your catalog, brochures, or postcards, etc. one or two times per season.
