Do the props come balanced?
In the factory, props are checked and adjusted to a high performance 1.25 to 1 P/D (pitch to diameter); however, we do not balance the prop. Instead, we include a strip of lead foil tape which the customer should apply to the light blade tip, where contest rules do not permit scraping the heavier blade. Simply trim off narrow strips of the tape until the prop is in balance. This process is fast and easy to do – and the silver color of the tape blends in nicely with the color of the prop.
