The ProCurve 1800-24G (J9028A) comes with mounting bracket kit (5183-1381) for easy installation in a 19 inch rack. Since the ProCurve 1800-8G (J9029A) was designed to be a desktop switch, it does not come with mounting brackets. If you wanted to mount two ProCurve 1800-8G switches side by side in a rack, you could use the four-way mounting kit available through parts.hp.com using part number 5183-7210.
