Although the Presidents of the United States of America appeared at a 1994 Democratic Party fund raiser in Seattle and had their photo taken with President Bill Clinton, the band has absolutely no relationship–personal, business, or otherwise–with America’s Chief Executive and does not endorse any particular candidate or political party. 6. SUbSET 6.1 Who is SUbSET? SUbSET is The Presidents of the USA (Chris Ballew, Dave Dederer, Jason Finn) and Sir Mix-a-lot. 6.2 Is SUbSET still together? No. After a west coast tour, the band lost contact with each other and the project has been defunct ever since. 6.3 Did SUbSET release an album? No. Some studio tracks were recorded while the band was together but nothing we ever official released aside from “Addicted to the Fame,” which can be found on the b-side of a 7″ with The Quitters (a one-time alias of The Presidents of the USA before they starting using their name again).
