Do the police investigate all traffic collisions?
No, an officer is not required to investigate a non-injury collision that results in minor property damage. If the parties involved do not request a police investigation, the parties can agree to exchange information and complete a City of Broken Arrow Operator’s Collision Report form to document the circumstances behind the collision. Broken Arrow Police officers will investigate any collision if there is a reported injury involved.
