Do the pearls confer psychic and magickal powers?
They do in a sense–one has to understand this subject correctly, however. To believe that just by wearing or carrying these pearls one would instantly acquire superhuman powers is stretching the issue beyond reason. Any dealer/merchant that stresses this is misrepresenting the mustika stones and is indulging in hype/sales talk and is a form of deception. To believe that you will possess many psychic and magickal powers as a result of possessing pearls is a form of delusion. These mustika pearls do affect one’s body/psyche in various ways–they empower and strengthen the aura and raise one’s basic frequency, etc.–these in itself can have many beneficial effects. The pearls can stimulate psychic abilities, however, if one does not have the proper psychological temperament, an inclination and yearning towards the non-metaphysical, no amount of stimulation of whatever method would develop these psychic powers.
