Do the opening forces comply with the requirements of Approved Document M?
The maximum opening forces referred to within Approved Document ‘M’ are not exceeded by R100 Perko-Powermatic on doors of a minimum width of 826mm, whilst still maintaining compliance with BS EN 1154. As Approved Document M applies to the entire doorset when fitted, consideration must be given to the door width, other installed hardware and differential air pressures within the building to ensure Perko Powermatic® meets the recommendations in situ.
