Yes, the oceans absorb about 1/3 rd of human generated CO2. At the ocean surfaces it is rising at about the same rate as in the atmosphere, however in deeper sea levels it is rising at an even faster rate. Scientists have found that between 250 to 450m depth it is rising at twice the rate.
