Do the new rules apply if I change to a new undergraduate or postgraduate program in 2005 or later without having completed my original program begun pre-2005?
No – if you have not completed your program and change to a new program on the same level (ie undergraduate to undergraduate, or postgraduate to postgraduate), you are still regarded as a pre-2005 student unless you have discontinued your enrolment, or failed to retain your place in the original program of studies.
