There are few games on the PSP that will actually include a features to access the internet and look for add on content. As for firmware updates for your PSP, practically every game UMD (universal media disk) after the first games at launch includes an update which is current to when that game released. This is an alternative way to update your PSP. however, To get the latest PSP firmware updates, use your PSP’s “Network Update” feature on your PSP’s XMB on the “Settings” category, or download the updates online and transfer it to your PSP.
