Do the new GE requirements affect current students?
Students are required to complete the General Education requirements outlined in the Catalog for the term in which they started coursework at Pepperdine. However, some of the classes they might need to take to fulfill those requirements might not exist anymore. They would then have to take an equivalent course. For example, HIST 200 does not exist in the new GE program. If students have yet to fulfill this requirement, they would take HIST 304, which is the course that fulfills the History requirement in the new General Education requirements.
