• Yes, the MT and GT projectors have an IC chip on the lamp housing. This IC chip tracks the exact # of hours on the lamp. This will help you with the following: • When you replace the lamp, the lamp hour meter resets itself. There is no need to reset manually. • If you replace the lamp before it has fail or reached its end of life you can keep this as a spare lamp and you will know the exact # of hours on the lamp. Projector will reset hours to the exact # on the old lamp.
