A. TOKYObay is committed to providing fashionable and wearable accessories which are safe for both our manufacturers and our consumers. All faux leather and synthetic materials used in TOKYObay’s bag production are tested for lead content by SGS, an internationally approved lab located in Guangzhou, China. SGS upholds accurate testing methods in compliance with laws pertaining to all synthetic goods imported into the U.S. TOKYObay receives a chemical test certificate from each batch of materials used seasonally which show results in compliance with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008. Our watch and clock production follow the same stringent testing through SGS. The metal and substrate materials are examined for a permissible limit of lead (0.03%) under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. TOKYObay do not import any item into the US until official documentation with a Pass approval is issued from the SGS lab.
