Do the MakeOTF and OTFProof tools support all layout table look-up types?
No. They do not support the mark and anchor look-up types required for Indic and Arabic fonts. This is because we developed these tools for our own use, and the Adobe Type Department only makes fonts for Roman and CJK typography. We will eventually get around to these, but not in the next few months. If you want to volunteer your programming time to add support for these look-up types, we’d be glad to work with you.
