A. Logitech WiLife Cameras will not function on battery power. The Logitech WiLife Cameras are designed to be powered by the A-C power line and send their digitized, compressed video signals back to the PC via the same A-C power line. Other so-called “Wireless cameras” still need a source of A-C power to operate, and a very complex setup in a network environment. The Logitech WiLife system was designed with ease of setup and ease of operation in mind.
