No – the hours vary. During most of the season the locks open at 8:30 am. In spring and fall, they close by 3:30 to 4:30 pm. In the summer they stay open until 7:30 pm. For full details see the fees & schedules page at: www.rideau-info.com/canal/fees.html (click this link).
