Do the JigCard and icaPuz CD-ROMs work on Macintosh computers?
If you can play the jigsaws on this site, then the CD-ROMs should work on your Macintosh computer. (However, I have had one customer with an old iMac who could not read the CD-ROM.) icaPuz reports that some Macs have trouble with some images in Java. You may need to copy the contents of the CD-ROM to your Mac hard drive. Try playing the puzzles directly on the CD-ROM first. To start play on the CD-ROM, display the directory of the CD-ROM and run _index.html (opens in your browser). If your Mac is unable to load pictures into the jigsaw puzzle, then copy the contents of the CD-ROM to your hard drive. Macs and Windows use the same format for CD-ROMs. (see Apple’s “How Do I Share Files?” answer on their FAQ page.
