No. Ozone is a powerful lung irritant that is produced by other air purifiers and ozone generators, but not in the IQAir air purifiers. IQAir purifiers do not generate any ozone so you can enjoy fresh, ozone-free air every time you use your air cleaner. All units are certified with the IAACM (International Association of Air Cleaner Manufacturers).
