Do the investors receive their investments back from the social businesses and social business funds?
If the funds are a “donation” to a social business or social business fund, then the donor makes it clear that he does not want it back. But if the funds are an “investment” into the social business fund or social business, then investor will get receive the absolute amount of his investment from the business or fund. Of course, one must remember that there is always the market risk that a social business or social business fund will fail. Just like with any other sort of investment, a return is not 100% guaranteed.
