Do the Interns receive any compensation besides the free travel and accommodations?
STA Travel provides the Interns a stipend to cover food and other necessary expenses. It is the responsibility of the Interns to budget accordingly. Other necessary expenses include Internet and phone access necessary to do the job, replacing broken equipment and transfers to and from airports. The stipend is not intended to cover any personal gifts or souvenirs. The Interns will have to budget accordingly based on current conditions in the countries they are visiting.
