Do the individuals who refer to environmentalists as “tree huggers” believe we literally hug trees?
They just want to put Environmentalists down there were actually people who chained them selves up to trees to stop them from being logged . What beats me is why the resistance where are these people coming from apart from being city people who dont realise the connection of Nature and humanity We dont say these things for self gratification the motives are to protect Nature so that it benefits humanity most , Because our very existance and the quality of our lives (everybodies )depends on The Environment being in a healthy condition . The Water we drink ,and what we need to irregate our crops ,the Air we breathe ,our climates ,the rainfall all of this stems from the forests,and much more . Some people want to be absolved from all responsibility and guilt Others cannot handle having to change their life styles And others dont want to admit anything for financial reasons,because that would mean they would have to change their factories and that would cut into their profits And it appear
