Do the handles have the slick smooth epoxy coating that DD bells have?
Nope, I made a point of having LL avoid the slick handles. They are smooth enough that they will not tear up your hands and rough enough that they will not fly out of your hands on high repetition work. Q: How big is the 97lb bell? A: Around the same size as DD’s 88lb bell. I love the 97s for double work! Q: How is the quality? A: I am very happy with the quality. The bells went though strict quality control measures and passed with flying colors. I could put my reputation behind any bell on the market and chose to do so with the LL bells.
