Do the Great Gummies ever return?
In the series, they never do. But at the end of the last episode, it is revealed that they will be returning soon. So they probably returned a year or so later. They may have decided to let some stay in New Gumbria across the ocean however as they did when they fled across the sea; it makes sense to let some stay and hold the home fort. But it was never confirmed that they returned.
