A. The GPS 72 and 76 units have 1MB of memory for use only with MapSource Point of Interest software. The GPSMAP 76 and GPSMAP 76S units have 8MB and 24MB respectively. These two units allow for download of any of Garmin’s family of MapSource products. All GPS 72/76 series units allow for real-time tracking using Garmin’s family of MapSource products and/or some 3rd party applications as well.
