Do the goalkeepers play any games at the Goalkeeper School?
There are 3 field sessions per day for the goalkeeper school. The morning and afternoon sessions are training sessions, where the other keepers and the staff will train in a more formal environment, however the evening session is reserved for games. Although there will only be goalkeepers in the goalkeeper programs we have created and adapted games for them to play during the last 20 years of conducting camps on a national scale. For example: if we cover catching techniques and distribution during the first day then that night the Director of the program may play a type of modified Team Hand-Ball game. There is a goalkeeper in each net and for teams to advanced the ball the players on the team must use proper goalkeeper distribution and catching techniques that were taught to them during the day.
