Both Gizmo models are virtually maintenance free. The Econo Winder requires no maintenance. Occasionally, the screws on the The Professional Deluxe need tightening; therefore, an Allen wrench is included in the kit. In addition, the threads on the shaft need periodic oiling. TIP FOR A REAL TIME SAVER get a rock tumbler and put steel shot in it with burnishing soap in water. Several hours of tumbling will shine up the surface. This treatment will also shine up any metal quickly and easily.
