Do the foods that we eat cause certain types of dreams?
Dreams apparently form by using memories and images in your self-concience. If you, for example, had a traumatic childhood, then one way of you healing from this trauma is for your brain to cleanse itself, therefore dreams about this childhood, parts of it or makes up dreams using people involved in the trauma. Another example, if you feel like you are losing power in a relationship, you may dream of being caught by someone and locked up or a dream about being lost at sea. The book I mention below (written by a psychologist) explains all of this for you as well as including a dream dictionary to help you interpret your dreams. I have used it several times and it is pretty much spot on and makes a lot of sense. So rather than food, I believe it’s got to do with the happenings and problems of your life, the dreams are based of these.
