Yes. Our Chinese suppliers meet European Union (EU) standards, which are among the most stringent food safety standards in the world and are also HACCP certified. HACCP is Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points and is a food safety system that has been recognized and adopted in Canada, the United States and Internationally. As a registered importer of Fish, the product arriving from China is also subject to inspection by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans upon arrival in Canada.
