Answer Hi, Most female guppies will have a faint gravid spot even when they are not pregnant, but when they are, it is clearer and more pronounced as the fry’s (offpring’s) eyes develop inside the female. Remember, guppies are livebearers, so they will not lay eggs, but give birth to live young.
