Not necessarily. The most important thing for exchangers is to live in a place which allows them to visit the chosen region. On the other hand if you live in a studio apartment it will be difficult to exchange it for a villa with a pool.But usually, the home exchange deal seem to work best between families of a similar age bracket and of similar professional means.
