I don’t blame you for wanting to use your old controllers, I would too. I just use my PS3 controller I got with the console and let my friends use the Dualshock 2 controllers. You just need to get an adapter which can be found at gamestop, amazon, or ebay for anywhere from $5-$15 but I would pay no more than $12. Dualshock 2 controllers will not offer Sixaxis Motion compatibility or Rumble capabilities.
