Do the dogs travel in crates?
If they are being sent with a crate anyway, then yes. It helps conserve space. However, new and/or small or worried dogs usually ride in the cab with me so they get to know me better before they get to the kennel environment. Bigger dogs, heavily shedding dogs, easy going & happy-go-lucky dogs ride in the back. Once we’re on the highway, they basically lie down & go to sleep for the duration of the trip.
