Do the dissection specimens need to be refrigerated?

It isn’t absolutely necessary to refrigerate them. However, it doesn’t hurt them either (and besides, there’s nothing quite like an ice cold, clammy dissection specimen to liven up your anatomy class…). If you are going to put the specimens in the fridge, I would suggest a double Zip Lock bag to keep any stray odors out of your food.
