Do the DHSS pay the sick elderly and disabled enough?
I dont think they do I think more should be given to the sick elderly and disabled as the small amount they get makes it extremley difficult for them to be able to cope with life, some are so short of money that they cant even afford the heating to keep warm during the winter months, and many long term sick disabled people end up in debt because the small amount of money they receive from the DHSS just isnt enough for them to cope. I think that people who are sick elderly or disabled should get at least 500 a month regardless of the type of benefit they are on. Also those who are on benefit due to a long term illness or disability should receive FULL funding for any college or university courses which they might wish to do as they are paid peanuts by the DHSS which makes it impossible for them to be able to afford their fees.
