A. Silver is combined with some carbon filters to inhibit bacteria, but it’s not safe to ingest silver. CRYSTAL QUEST water filters inhibit bacteria growth throughout the entire unit (They reduce it up to 90%!) and it is safe. If you are concerned a bout bacteria you can also disinfect the unit.
