Do The Cruise Lines support the long-term sustainability of Stingray City?

I would like to see the Cruise Lines insist that any one booking tours on the ships commit to not removing the rays from the water. They control a lot of the dollars that are spent on Stingray City. this “power of the dollar” could be used to influence the manner in which the rays are treated. It is in their best interest, as well as ours, to help ensure its long-term sustainability. We seem not to be doing the job by ourselves and I would welcome the pressure from them. Regretfully some people only listen to reason if they have money to lose if they don’t. I would welcome the Cruise Lines joining the effort and would be happy to list the ones that help in the “Find a Boat” page.
