Do the council provide garden maintenance for elderly tenants who are not capable of doing the work themselves?
The Council is only able to offer garden maintenance for some St Leger Homes of Doncaster (SLHD) tenants who are not capable of doing the work themselves. However, it is not possible to offer this service to all elderly tenants so to qualify tenants must meet certain criteria. In addition, extra work is often required to a garden before it is added to the list. If necessary, this work may be carried out as a ‘one off’ only, prior to the maintenance outlined above.
