NO! Our dye is specially engineered to create an incredible bond with wood fiber. Once the colorant dries, it’s on the mulch permanently. You will not experience any wash-off or leaching. However, all dyed mulches require 6-24 hours of sun drying time before they will become permanent. If the mulch has not been allowed the adequate time to dry (due to rain or watering) some color may wash.
