Do the coaches profit from their participation in the Storm program?

No. Coaches donate their time and talent to the program simply to help girls develop into competitive softball players. No coach receives any compensation for their efforts. Coaches do not get paid nor do they receive any money for the purchase of equipment, reserving hotel rooms, or any other activity in the Storm program. Storm does offer a number of clinics. For some we have individuals from outside the Storm program instruct them and they do get paid. However, for other Storm clinics the time coaches spend in these clinics is voluntary. Money paid to participate in the clinic goes directly to the operation of the Storm program but NOT to any individual coach as income. Players are not required to participate in these clinics to earn play time. Girls are awarded play time based on skills and abilities.
