Do the children assess their own learning?
A. Yes, to the extent of identifying their learning goals within a Dr. John’s New Digital Excellence Award area and then clicking on the traffic light system to indicate which ICT capabilities they have used. The actual accreditation of the child’s learning is done by the teacher in discussion with the child. Children do not normally accredit their own learning. This is normally done by the teacher, classroom support person or other nominated accreditor.
