Do the characters in Usagi Yojimbo have tails?
(UY Vol 2, #2) Gennosuk: “Hey, don’t get personal!” (UY Vol 1, #24) I knew it would come up some day, and I’ve dreaded it since the beginning. Frankly, I don’t know. I don’t know if any of my characters have tails. I know they should have tails, but giving them tails would make them somehow a bit too animalistic. I’ve avoided answering this question by always keeping my characters clothed. I guess this is something theologists will debate for years to come, along with creationism vs. evolution.
