Do the British army soldiers carry a side arm??
Some of them do, because I work in a shop that sells airguns and a soldier came in to buy a holster for his Glock. He was a radio op. and they had given him a pistol but nothing to put it in. Pistols have been banned in mainland Britain for more than ten years now so there wasn’t any proper holsters. I sold him a shoulder holster that is made for co2 pistols, toys, and he took that. His next stop was to buy himself some good boots, because the army ones are crap. When you join they give you a list of things to buy because the army can’t afford them. Things like a Swiss army knife. Our army is an army of paupers, even the rifle is rubbish, there are not enough flak jackets to go round and they patrol in Land Rovers because we don’t have any armoured scout cars. Dear God, we had those fifty years ago in ww2! The folks at home have to send the lads things like underwear and soap. The radios are rubbish, and just about everything they use is second rate and not enough of anything either. M
