Do the bible contradict itself?
No, the bible does not contradict itself. The problem comes from the fact that people with limited intelligence cannot understand what God is saying. We need the Holy Spirit to show us what the scriptures mean. People who attack God do not have the Holy Spirit and therefore cannot understand the scriptures. To them God has made them fools with His words in the Bible. To those who are perishing God has blinded their eyes to the truth of the scriptures so they cannot understand what is written.
the bible does not contradict itself… ppl however misinterpret the bible so it sometimes seem as though it is contradictory.. for example: “Christ came to earth to bring peace and then it states he came here to bring war” when crist came to the earth, he came to free mankind from their sins and give prace to all by making salvation possible… but at the same time the parasies and scribes sought to make war with him when he told them that they r hyprocrits… Jesus knew that although he came to bring peace and speak against evil doers, war will also ensue… war here means a spritual warfare and not physical warfare.. also jesus often spoke in parables so many ppl did not understand what he meant wen he spoke.. his words would seem as contradictory to unbelivers but only those who truly belived in him understood his sayings..
