Do the AcrEase Finish Cut Mowers need a battery?
The AcrEase Finish Cut Mowers are equipped with an electric start engine and a battery box. The battery is not included. Information on where to purchase a durable dry cell type battery is included in the Owner’s Manual packet. If desired, an optional electrical starting cord that is attached permanently to the tow vehicle battery can be purchased. To start the wing mower using the optional starting cord first plug the starting cord on to the starting terminal. The ground will be completed back through the hitch. Then start your wing mower. Once the wing mower is started, the starting cord is wound back up on the back of the tow vehicle. This option eliminates the need to have extra batteries on each wing mower.
