Do tenants or customers have to provide any banking information?
None at all! When anyone pays through TenantPay, they do so through within the security measures provided by their financial institution. TenantPay does not receive any account information, only the date, place, and amount of payments transferred along with their permanent TenantPay number. The only data received are: (a) dollar amount and the date the payment was made on (b) financial institution it came from (c) TenantPay number that was assigned by their landlord There is no requirement for your tenants or your customers to provide any banking information. Therefore, because their banking information is never disclosed in the first place, it can never be compromised.
