Do teeth straighten as a child grows?
Teeth are often crooked because there is insufficient space in the arches. That space deficiency usually continues as the child grows, so the teeth cannot straighten themselves. Between seven and ten years of age, the bones and muscles of the face grow quickly and some permanent teeth appear during that period.
