Do technical analysts believe fundamental information doesn affect a stocks price?
Not at all. Technical analysts tend to agree that good fundamental analysis can produce superior investment results. Analysts who produce very good fundamntal analysis and are able to put the analysis to use should be able to outperform the market on a risk-adjusted basis. The problem is that superior fundamental aalysis is very difficult to ahieve and act on, especially for investors who have limited resources and time. It is better that others with more resources and contacts are left to perform this rigorous work, while technical analysts spend their time evaluating price trends that will indicate what major investors are up to.
