Do teachers receive a complete week off for Thanksgiving Break?
A. While both calendar options give students a full week off for Thanksgiving, Calendar Option 2 requires teachers to report to their campuses for a mandatory staff development day on Monday, Nov. 23. Wednesday and Thursday of that week are optional staff development days which may be days off for teachers who fulfill their staff development requirements earlier in the school year.
