Do TatukGIS products support the vector street/road map data of the leading vendors?
Yes. We have tested and verified that TatukGIS products work with map data licensed from NavTeq, Tele Atlas, and AND. Numerous customers use TatukGIS DK or IS products to develop solutions that use data from these vendors. Furthermore, the “Street/Road Map” Internet Server sample on the TatukGIS web site demonstrates use of the TatukGIS Internet Server product to web publish vector map data provided by AND (AND Automation Data Company in the Netherlands). Of course, when such data is first opened in a TatukGIS product (without a TatukGIS project file), the map geometry will be default rendered without colors, line widths, polygon fills, label appearances, etc. (These map vendors probably not yet offer their data pre-prepared as a TatukGIS project.) So you must invest the time to set up a TatukGIS project file to render the map data in a professional way.
