Do swiss ball excersises burn fat or just build muscle?
Hi the main reason for using a swiss ball is that it targets your stabiliser muscles. These are the small muscles that allow you to balance areas of your body. Often through normal training these muscles don’t get much of a workout and remain weak. Exercises on the swiss ball allow you to bring these muscles into play and get a workout by having to balance you while you train. This is important because having weak stabiliser muscles can lead to injuries. So to answer your question, a swiss ball does not really do either, but it is a really good thing to use for balance and strengthening your stabiliser muscles. Hope that helped.
